Honda's 75th Birthday Will Bring A Sport Car, NSX Or S2000 Successor?
JAKARTA - The automotive giant from Japan, Honda will celebrate its 75th anniversary this year. To make celebrations even more special, Honda plans to launch the latest sports car.
Recently, Honda has offered high-performance vehicles, one of which is from the latest Civic Type R. Rumor has it, Honda will release a high-performance car outside Civic or even give birth to the latest generation of the legendary sports car, S2000.
At the launch of all three of his newest SUVs, Vice President Honda Motor Europe Ltd, Tom Gardner hinted a little that it was possible that the products Honda would issue would then have a "sporty" character.
"We love sports cars. We love performance and we are very grateful for the response we have to the latest Type R," Gardner said as quoted by Autocar, Friday, May 12.
What's more, rumors that Honda will revive the S2000 have been going on for quite a long time. In 2017, Honda CEO at that time, Takahirochigo said he wanted to return the roadster.
Last year, Honda confirmed it would introduce an electric car known as the successor to NSX with the latest style.
