5 Kicks Minister Suharso Raises Industry Sector
JAKARTA - The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) conveyed five strategies that must be taken by Indonesia to increase the industrial sector for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 28.0 percent in 2045.
Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa said, first is modernizing and increasing manufacturing resource-based productivity with integrated upstream value chains and chains.
"Second, advancing mastery of technology and innovation to improve high-tech products and value chains," he said, quoting Antara.
As for the third strategy, the increase in the industrial sector is to increase export participation and global value chain (GVC).
Fourth, increase supply chain localization through investment and collaboration, and lastly, namely implementing smart and sustainable manufacturing.
On this occasion, he stated that a bright and sustainable aerospace industry was an important issue in the country.
