1,893 Houses In Bogor Flooded
BOGOR - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bogor Regency, West Java, recorded that 1,893 houses in two sub-districts were flooded during heavy rains.
"Not only houses, residents' road access was also flooded, because the flood height was about 50-60 centimeters," said Head of the Bogor Regency BPBD Emergency and Logistics Division, Aris Nurjatmiko, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 4.
The flood submerged 1,893 houses inhabited by 2,592 families, causing 10,294 people to be affected.
Floods occurred at three points, namely Waringin Jaya Village, Susukan Village, Bojonggede District and Bojongkulur Village, Gunungputri District.
According to him, the houses affected by the flood were mostly in the Bojongkulur Village area, Gunungputri District. Even so, Aris ensured that the flood did not last too long and has now receded.
Previously, the Acting Regent of Bogor, Iwan Setiawan, had determined that his area had a disaster emergency response status after Bogor Regency was surrounded by disasters on Monday (24/4).
At that time, the Bogor Regency BPBD recorded natural disasters ranging from floods, landslides, strong winds, to land shifts occurring in 15 villages in a day.

The flood incident occurred in seven villages, namely Sadeng Village, Leuwisadeng District, Kalongliud Village, Nanggung District, Harkatjaya Village, Sukajaya District, Bojong Village, Tenjo District.
Then, in Jasinga District, floods occurred in three villages, namely Kalonkerah, Koleang, and Sipak.
The landslide natural disaster occurred in seven villages, namely Sukajaya Village, Tamansari District, Cidudeg Village, Cigudeg District, Purasari Village, Leuwiliang District, Kalongliud Village and Pangkaljaya Village, Nanggung District, and Urug Village and Harkatjaya Village, Sukajaya District.
Natural disasters of strong winds occurred in three villages, namely, Nanggewer Village, Cibinong District, and Cidudeg Village and Wargajaya Village, Cigudeg District.
Finally, the natural disaster of land shifting occurred in Sukawangi Village, Sukamakmur District.
Dozens of natural disasters did not cause any casualties. However, as many as 110 people were affected, 77 buildings were slightly damaged, 13 buildings were moderately damaged, and three buildings were heavily damaged.
