D+8 Lebaran, Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road Records 703 Thousand Vehicles To Jakarta
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded 703,431 vehicles heading to Jakarta via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) on D+1 or April 22 to D+8 or May 1, 2023.
VP Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Ria Marlinda Paallo said the figure rose 133,41 percent when compared to normal traffic (traffic) of 301,375 vehicles.
"The volume of vehicles leaving Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) was recorded at 345,248 vehicles up 21.67 percent compared to normal traffic of 283,763 vehicles," he said in an official statement, quoted Wednesday, May 3.
Ria said PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also recorded traffic volumes on D+1 to D+8 of Eid Al-Fitr 2023 in the Central Java and East Java Regions. Where the volume of GT Kalikangkung vehicles leaving Semarang, recorded as 435,221 vehicles, an increase of 184.57 percent from normal traffic as many as 152,491 vehicles.
Meanwhile, there were 139,038 vehicles heading to Semarang, down 8.68 percent from normal traffic as many as 152,256 vehicles.
"Then there were 359,391 vehicles leaving Semarang via GT Banyumanik, an increase of 55.65 percent from normal traffic as many as 230,890 vehicles," he said.
Meanwhile, there were 506,077 vehicles heading to Semarang or towards Jakarta, an increase of 125.07 percent for normal traffic as many as 224,857 vehicles.
Then, continued Ria, there were 285,133 vehicles leaving Surabaya via the Warugunung GT or an increase of 55.67 percent of normal traffic as many as 183,166 vehicles.

"For vehicles heading to Surabaya via the Warugunung GT, there were 317,679 vehicles recorded, an increase of 65.42 percent for normal traffic as many as 192,049 vehicles," he explained.
Ria said Jasamarga also recorded 374,703 vehicles leaving Surabaya, an increase of 16.04 percent from normal traffic as many as 322,896 vehicles. Meanwhile, 392,990 vehicles headed for Surabaya were recorded, an increase of 29.39 percent from normal traffic as many as 303,717 vehicles.
"On H1 to D+8 of Eid Al-Fitr in 2023, 179,835 vehicles left Malang, an increase of 47.61 percent from normal traffic of 121,829 vehicles. For vehicles heading to Malang, 177,834 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 36.87 percent from normal traffic of 129,925 vehicles," he said.
