The Impact of Fire Outbreak, Astra Tol Cipali Temporarily Closes Rest Area KM 86
JAKARTA - Astra Tol Cipali, along with the West Java Energy and Mineral Resources Agency, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Subang Fire Department, and the Central Police, is securing the location of a fire eruption at the rest area of KM 86 in the direction of Jakarta on the Cipali Toll Road.
The fire eruption, which originated from a borehole at the rest area of KM 86 B on the Cipali Toll Road, occurred this morning at around 8:32 AM local time.
"We are currently observing the fire eruption at the location", said Astra Tol Cipali's Director of Operations, Agung Prasetyo, in a press statement on Wednesday, April 26.
As the operator of the Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road, Astra Tol Cipali apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the fire eruption at the rest area of KM 86 B.
As a form of responsibility and effort to ensure the safety and security of tenants, visitors, and the surrounding community at the rest area of KM 86 B, Astra Tol Cipali is temporarily closing the rest area.
Agung stated that they will continue to observe the field together with relevant parties so that the fire eruption can be extinguished as soon as possible.

Furthermore, Agung advised road users who want to rest at the Cipali Toll Road rest area to have alternative options.
"Road users can rest at the next rest area or exit at the nearest toll gate to rest and recover their energy and physical condition after a tiring drive", he concluded.
