Pay Attention! Km 72 Cipali Toll Road To Km 414 Kalikangkung Direction Jakarta One Way This Afternoon

JAKARTA - The West Java Regional Police appealed to motorists who want to go to Jakarta from the eastern region not through the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road. This is because one way traffic flow engineering is being implemented from the opposite direction starting this afternoon.

"People, especially those who will use the toll road to Jakarta, don't enter the toll road because now there is a cleaning, especially the route leading to Jakarta," said West Java Police Traffic Director Kombes Wibowo to reporters, Tuesday, April 18.

Drivers heading to Jakarta are asked to go through the arterial route. Then, enter KM 72 of the Toll Gate in the Cikopo area, Purwakarta.

The toll road is recommended for motorists who go to Jakarta because one way is not implemented.

"Or enter the Sadang and Purbaleunyi Toll Roads, enter Jakarta," said Wibowo.

On the other hand, he asked for the cooperation of motorists regarding the application of one way engineering. This is because the implementation is only for the sake of mutual comfort during the 2023 Eid homecoming moment.

Meanwhile, Korlantas Polri will start implementing a one way scheme or one direction at the Cipali KM 72 Toll Road to the Kalikanglung KM 414 Toll Gate. The implementation starts this afternoon.

"The implementation of the one way action plan will be opened at 14.30 WIB," said Head of the Korlantas Police, Kombes Eddy Djunaedi.

For now, the team is preparing or sterilizing vehicles from the Kalikanglung Toll Road to the Cipali Toll Road. It is predicted that the preparation process will take two hours.

"Cleaning the way one way to act at 12.30 to 14.30 WIB. The way to act is one way from Km 72 of the cipali toll road to Km 414 of the Kalikangkung toll gate," he said.

Meanwhile, Eddy said that his party had not implemented a contraflow scheme from the West Karawang or Cikampek KM 42 to the KM72 Cipali Toll Road. The reason is that the traffic flow is still sloping.

"It has not been implemented contraflow, the VCR (volume capacity ratio) is still low and the current is still under control. We will wait for further notification," said Eddy.
