Ramon Armando Becomes BTN's Latest Corporate Secretary

JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) appointed Ramon Armando as Corporate Secretary replacing Achmad Chaerul, effective since Friday, April 14, 2023. Meanwhile, Achmad Chaerul is now appointed as Chairman of the BTN Bank Sharia Development Strategy Team.

Ramon said that in carrying out his duties as a Corporate Secretary, he prioritized communication with various relevant and public stakeholders to maintain the reputation of Bank BTN.

"Especially to oversee Bank BTN's main mission is to support housing financing for the people, especially low-income people and millennials, as well as towards BTN's vision as The Best Mortgage Bank in Southeast Asia in 2025," Ramon said in Jakarta, Sunday, April 16.

According to Ramon, there is no special assignment in his new assignment as a Corporate Secretary.

The focus is more on strengthening communication according to Good Corporate Governance which was well run by the previous Corporate Secretary. Substitution of officers is a common thing in the organization. Hopefully it can go well," he said.

Prior to serving as Corporate Secretary of Bank BTN, Ramon served as Marketing Communication Division Head of Bank BTN. Ramon is optimistic about his experience so far, he is able to carry out the role of a very strategic Corporate Secretary, especially in building the company's positive image and reputation and establishing good relations with relevant stakeholders both in government, legislature, media and society.
