JAKARTA - At the prestigious world-largest industrial technology exhibition Hannover Messe 2023, Indonesia will showcase the concept of developing the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago which carries the concept of a green city as one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) as stipulated in the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Number 21 of 2022.
"Indonesia's participation in Hannover Messe 2023 is also expected to increase investment opportunities in the development of IKN Nusantara by implementing three green energy concepts," said Director General of Resilience, Regional Affairs and International Industrial Access (Dirjen KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry Eko SA Cahyanto in a written statement, Friday, April 14.
Eko said, there are three green energy concepts that will be applied in the development of IKN Nusantara, namely Forest City which is dominated by a landscape with a forest structure that functions as an ecosystem to create life together with nature.
Furthermore, the City of Spons, namely by increasing the absorption of water to reduce the risk of flooding and improve the quality and quantity of clean water.
"The third concept is that the City of Smart, namely a dynamic, inclusive city, supported by the community, and ready to face the future. This Smart City is supported by technology as an accelerator for increased productivity and quality of life," he said.
According to Eko, in the Hannover Messe 2023 event, the Indonesian Pavilion will hold a conference on April 18-20, 2023.
"Indonesia will display policies that have been implemented by the government in an effort to support the transformation process of the conventional manufacturing system towards green industrial manufacturing systems," he said.

"Of course, this plays an important role in strengthening Indonesia's bilateral relations and economic cooperation with Germany, not only limited to trade, investment and industry, but will also touch on the dimension of sustainable development (sustainability development)," he said.
