40 Houses Burned In North Kedoya, 30 Families Evacuated
JAKARTA - The fire devoured 40 houses on Jalan Pesing Koneng, RT14/RW02, North Kedoya Village, Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta, on Thursday, April 6 evening.
The impact of the fire caused 30 families (KK) consisting of around 100 people to evacuate.
According to information from the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) on Friday, the fire was caused by a stove left while cooking at a resident's house.
"Now the number of refugees is 30 families/100 people," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji on Friday.
Isnawa explained that the refugees consisted of 39 men, 30 women, 10 toddlers, 18 children, 2 pregnant women, and 1 48-year-old men with disabilities.
The fire in the area was extinguished after 15 fire engines and other Regional Work Units (SKPD) were deployed, including 1 BPBD TRC Unit, 1 PLN Unit, 1 PMI Unit, 1 Health Office AGD Unit, 1 Transportation Agency Unit, 1 Satpol PP Unit, PSKB/Tagana Social Service Personnel, Sector Police Personnel and Koramil Personnel and North Kedoya PPSU.
All victims have been evacuated and secured in two refugee tents, namely in the BPBD tent located in RT 15 RW 02 and in the Jakarta/Tagana Social Service tent located in RT 13 RW 02.
