KPU Targets Verfak Prima Party To Be Completed On The Third Week Of April
The General Elections Commission (KPU) targets to determine the results of factual verification (verfak) of political parties candidates for the 2024 General Election after the Bawaslu decision regarding the order to verify the administration of the Prima Party's improvement in the third week of April 2023."We will determine the results of the factual verification of political parties (political parties) for candidates participating in the 2024 General Election after the Bawaslu Decision Number 001/LP/ADM.PL/BWS/00.00/III/2023 001/2023, God willing, in the third week of April 2023," said KPU RI member Idham Holik at a press conference at the Indonesian KPU Media Center, Jakarta, Antara, Friday, March 24.The results of the factual verification, he continued, will be published in detail by the KPU on the jdih.kpu.go.id page.Even so, Idham said the target for determining the results of the verfaq could be achieved if a number of conditions were met by the Prima Party as the party that was given the opportunity for Bawaslu to verify the administrative improvement, including during the period of improving the registration requirements for political parties for candidates participating in the 2024 General Election and the documents submitted by the Prima Party were declared complete."Then, we will carry out administrative verification of the document," continued Idham.If the administrative verification results are declared complete or meet the requirements, Idham said that the KPU will withdraw the samples."We will verify this sample, especially the membership sample of political parties. We will verify the factual management, both at the central, provincial, and district/city levels as submitted to us," said Idham.In essence, he said, the verification method for Prima was carried out similar to the one that had been carried out by other candidates for the 2024 General Election in October, November, and December 2022.Previously in the trial of reading the verdict at the Indonesian Bawaslu Session Room, Jakarta, Monday (20/3), Bawaslu ordered a number of things to the Indonesian General Election Commission after being judged to have been legally and convincingly proven to have violated the election administration reported by the Prima Party, including the KPU being ordered to verify the administration of improvements to Prima as a political party for candidates participating in the 2024 General Election.The Prima Party was given the opportunity for Bawaslu to submit a document on the requirements for improving administrative verification, based on the Minutes of Administrative Verification Recapitulation before repairs using the Political Party Information System (Sipol), no later than 10×24 hours after the opening of Sipol access to Prima by the Indonesian KPU.
