Bank DKI And Coordinating Ministry For The Economy Collaboration Encourage Access To KUR Financing For The Young Generation
JAKARTA - As a form of support for the Government's program, especially access to People's Business Credit (KUR), Bank DKI collaborated with the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy of the Republic of Indonesia to hold a KUR Festival entitled SUPER GENE-CREATION: YOUTH SEJAHTERA TOGETHER WITH KUR! at Gedung Sate, Bandung on 17-18 March 2023.
The event, which was aimed at the younger generation who were interested in accessing financing information for business development, was also attended by the Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Susiwijono Moegiarso, and Gede Edy Prasetya Assistant Deputy for Capital Markets and Financial Institutions, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
Representing the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, on the same occasion, the Director of Compliance with Bank DKI, Ateng Rivai said that Bank DKI's participation in this event is a commitment to encouraging the empowerment of MSMEs, especially the younger generation.
Furthermore, Ateng said that Bank DKI's participation opened up space for MSME players, especially genes-Z in the 18-25 year age range who were interested in information on access to KUR financing, in the hope that it could help business growth and have a broad impact on economic growth.
"Bank DKI is fully committed to maximizing the distribution of KUR as an expansion of access to capital for MSMEs," said Ateng, in his statement, Monday, March 20.
For information, Bank DKI recorded KUR distribution in 2022 reaching 100 percent of the quota or IDR 1.15 trillion to approximately 6,023 MSME and Micro business actors.
President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, through a written statement conveying that as one of the KUR channeling banks, Bank DKI is not only committed to increasing access to financing, but encourages empowerment and assistance for MSMEs to continue to grow and develop in supporting the national economy.
As for 2023, Bank DKI received a portion of IDR 2.8 trillion, with details of the conventional allocation of IDR 2 trillion, and Sharia of IDR 800 billion.
The government through the Financing Policy Committee for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) continues to strive to produce optimal economic growth contributions, this is in line with the demographic bonus momentum currently experienced by Indonesia until 2030.
To achieve the target of KUR distribution in 2023 which was increased to IDR 450 trillion, the government continues to strengthen synergy and support from various parties, including the Regional Government, MSME Actors, KUR Distributors, KUR Guarantees, Associations, Academics and BPJS Employment, one of which is through this KUR Festival activity.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi expressed his appreciation for the holding of the 2023 KUR Festival and the enthusiasm of the people of Bandung and its surroundings, especially the younger generation for the KUR information conveyed by Bank DKI.
"Bank DKI also provides e-forms and digital lending applications as part of the digitalization process in order to maximize the credit and financing process for customers," said Arie.
