Pertamina Ensures Fuel Stock In Lampung During Ramadan And Eid Al-Fitr Are Safe For Consumers
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel ensures that the stock or availability of fuel oil (BBM) in Lampung during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri period remains safe for consumers.
"We ensure that the availability of fuel ahead of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr is safe. Moreover, in terms of product supply, the average fuel stock security days for the Lampung area is more than 10 days, it should be safe," said Sales Area Manager Retail Lampung Bagus Handoko quoted from Antara, Friday, March 17.
He said that the need for biosolars in Lampung Province is around 2,200 kiloliters per day, while for pertalite and pertamax it ranges from 2,600 kiloliters (KL) to 2,800 KL per day.
"Usually, before Ramadan and Eid there was an increase in demand. Last year it was around 5 percent to 10 percent, and the peak could be up to 20 to 45 percent, but we have anticipated it, by distributing fuel as needed," said Bagus.
Bagus said, in Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr there will also be a task force (task force) that always monitors the status of fuel stocks at each public refueling station (SPBU).
"More than about 86 percent of gas stations in this province have been digitized. This means that our fuel stock will be monitored in real time," he said.
So, he said, when there are gas stations whose stock has started to run low, Pertamina will immediately meet its availability so that there is no fuel vacancy.
Then, he also said, to ensure the availability of fuel during the fasting month and Eid on D-14 and D+14 there will be a Ramadan and Eid Task Force that always monitors fuel stocks at gas stations.
"We will also have a RAFI Task Force, where monitoring will be tightened again a day, we can monitor it three times, which fuel stocks have started to run low or are empty so that they are immediately fulfilled," he also said.
