The DressX Digital Mode House Received A Fund Disbursement Of IDR 230 Billion To Increase The Company's NFT Offer

JAKARTA - Technological changes that are so fast and dynamic have brought many changes to the various industrial sectors, including in the fashion world. The emergence of digital modes in collaboration with advanced and innovative technology, blockchain, has changed the fashion industry landscape, and DressX is one of the pioneers in this regard.

DressX, a digital fashion company in the spotlight for introducing digital mode with NFT technology, has just announced it managed to raise USD 15 million (approximately IDR 230 billion) from the Series A funding round.

The funds were collected through investment from European crypto investment firm Greenfield Capital, as well as other well-known investors such as Slow Ventures, Warner Music, The Artemis Fund, and the Red DAO digital mode collective. The funding will be used to improve DressX technology and expand its NFT offerings.

In an effort to build a large digital mode community, DressX plans to become the main provider of digital mode in cyberspace. Currently, DressX has focused on social media and will launch an application with augmented reality in April 2023. The new app allows users to wear digital clothing in their photos and videos.

Although DressX uses blockchain technology in its NFT offerings, the company clarified that it is not interested in crypto. According to one of its founders, Natalia Modenova, NFT is not the goal of DressX, but only a means to distribute digital mode. DressX will continue to offer "compatible digital clothing with blockchain" while distancing itself from "crypto".

According to CEO DressX, the company uses a variety of technologies to realize its vision, including blockchain technology. However, DressX does not rely on the technology and will use different technologies to fulfill its mission.

In the near future, DressX will seek to expand its reach and improve its application performance as well as the NFT market. By raising Rp230 billion from the Series A funding round, DressX is increasingly convinced that it can achieve its goals and lead the digital fashion industry in the future.
