Ex-Mayor Of Kendari City Silence After More Than 2 Hours Examined By Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office In Business Licensing Corruption Case
KENDARI - The former Mayor of Kendari City with the initials SK was reluctant to comment after being questioned by the Investigative Team of the Southeast Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office as a witness regarding alleged corruption related to the licensing of Alfamidi/Alfamart outlets which had ensnared the Regional Secretary of Kendari City with the initials RT.
"Later yes," SK said briefly while smiling after undergoing examination as a witness at the Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office in Kendari, Antara, Thursday, March 16.
SK arrived at the Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office at around 9.30 WITA to fulfill a summons for examination as a witness in the alleged business licensing corruption case that ensnared the Regional Secretary of Kendari with the initial RT, who has been named a suspect.
The SK left the Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office after undergoing an examination at around 12.00 WITA.
The chairman of the Southeast Sulawesi Prosperous Justice Party (DPW) Regional Management Council (DPW) was wearing a sturdy white shirt and long black pants.
SK went straight to a white car parked in the courtyard of the Southeast Sulawesi Attorney's Office.
Meanwhile, SK's lawyer, Muhammad Ridwan Zainal, said that his client would continue the investigation today by investigators from the Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office.
The Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office has named the Secretary of Kendari City with the initials RT who is the former Head of the Kendari Regional Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency (Bappeda) as a suspect in the alleged bribery case for PT Midi Utama Indonesia (MUI) licensing with one of the Kendari City Government experts with the initials SM.

The Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi Penkum) of the Southeast Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office Dody said the two were processed based on the Investigation Warrant Number: Print-03/P.3/FD.1/03/2023 dated March 6, 2023.
"To deal with whether there are state losses or not, we relate this to Article 11 and Article 12 letter e relating to bribery and gratuities. So, we do not make suspects with articles on state financial losses," said Dody.
