Kuncoro Wibowo Adds A Row Of Ex-Directors Of DKI BUMD Files Law
JAKARTA - The fact that Kuncoro Wibowo is a suspect in the alleged corruption in the procurement of social assistance by the KPK was revealed, shortly after he resigned from the position of President Director of PT Transjakarta.Kuncoro's snare in the alleged corruption case has added to the row of directors of DKI regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) who have been dragged into legal cases over the past few years.On January 23, 2020, former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan appointed Donny Saragih as Director of Transjakarta. Donny was appointed as President Director of PT TransJakarta replacing Agung Wicaksono who resigned from his position since October 2018.Then on January 25, 2022, the DKI BUMD Development Agency received a report that Donny was convicted of document falsification while serving as operational director of the 2017 bus company PT Eka Sari Lorena Transport.After only four days in office, Donny was immediately removed from the position of Director of Transjakarta as of January 27. When caught in this legal case, Donny immediately fled so he became a fugitive.During his time as a fugitive, he had submitted a review (PK), but was not accepted by the Central Jakarta District Court because he was never present at the trial. Until September 2020, Donny was arrested.The boss of BUMD, the legal case also occurred at Perumdah Pembangunan Sarana Jaya. On May 27, 2021, the President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles Pinontoan, was named a suspect in corruption in the procurement of land for the Rp0 DP House which cost the state Rp152.5 billion by the KPK.At that moment, Anies immediately removed Yoory from his position. After undergoing trial, the former Managing Director of Sarana Jaya was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison plus a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison.Legal problems in BUMD directors have hit Transjakarta again. Kuncoro Wibowo was appointed Director of Transjakarta on January 11, 2023 by Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono.After only two months in office, Kuncoro suddenly resigned. Personal matters are the reason Kuncoro resigned from the position of Director of Transjakarta. At least, that's what Kuncoro wrote in his resignation letter.However, it was suddenly revealed that Kuncoro had been prevented from leaving the country since February. Then, it was revealed that Kuncoro is now a suspect in the corruption case of rice social assistance (bansos) for the Family Hope Program (PKH) at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). The former President Director of PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (BGR) was charged with five other people.
