STALKER 2 Developer Hacked, Studio Asks Players To Be Patient
Developer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, GSC Game World announced that recently, its employee accounts were victims of hacking by irresponsible people, originating from the internet network in Russia.
"They threaten to use data obtained for extortion and intimidation. This is not the first attempt to hack and leak our data, including personal information. We have been under ongoing cyberattacks for more than a year now," the developer said in an announcement on Twitter.

As one of Ukraine's video game development companies, GSC Game World claims to have faced many cyber attacks such as extortion, acts of aggression, hacks, and attempts to undermine the company's development or reputation process.
However, the company says the threats that come will not change their commitment to supporting their country, in the present, or in the future.
"We have gone through a lot. However, this challenge only encourages us to work harder because we believe that the truth is on our side. Crime will never win," the company stressed.
In the event of any data leakage, the developer asks players not to watch and disseminate any information about any development in ST.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl.
"We encourage you to remain patient and wait for an official release for the best experience. We believe that you will like it. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to our loyal community. Thank you for that from each member of the GSC Game World team," he concluded.
