Police Investigate Social Media Account @mbakjastip_ Allegedly Fraud BLACKPINK Concert Tickets

JAKARTA - The social media account @mbakjastip_ was reported on suspicion of fraudulent sale of BLACKPINK concert tickets in Jakarta. Polda Metro Jaya said that it had started to carry out investigation steps.

"Sub-Directorate of Jatanras Ditreskrimum PMJ has carried out investigative steps," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters, Monday, March 13.

The investigation effort was carried out based on reports through social media. This is because there has been no official report to the Polda Metro Jaya.

"The investigator's steps have contacted the victims to make a report to the Polda Metro Jaya regarding reports around the public regarding the fraud of the purchase of concert tickets through social media," he said.

Returning to the @mbakjastip_ account, Trunoyudo said that one of the victims with the initials DH was deceived by Rp12 million. He did not get what the account promised.

In fact, after being traced, many were also victims. The loss reached hundreds of millions.

"Including other victims as much as Rp. 172 million in value," said Trunoyudo.

For information, the girl band BLACKPINK held a concert at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Central Jakarta, for two days or to be precise March 11 and 12.
