Ministry Of Transportation Provides 24,072 Free Homecoming Quota, Who Interested In Checking How To Register!
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation provides free homecoming facilities for Lebaran bus modes in 2023. The seat quota provided is 24,072 people.
Director General of Land Transportation, Hendro Sugiatno said as many as 585 bus units would be prepared to serve passengers to 28 cities. In detail, 459 buses for homecoming flow and 126 buses for backflow.
"Departing we have a quota of 18,528 passengers and a backflow we have 5,544 passengers," he said in a virtual press conference, Monday, March 13.
In addition to passengers, Hendro said that his party also provided 30 trucks that would carry as many as 900 motorbikes for free.
"The total quota for transporting motorbike homecoming is 900 units, which is divided into 450 units for homecoming flow and 450 units for backflow which are transported by 30 trucks (15 units of homecoming trucks and 15 units of back trucks)," said Hendro.
Meanwhile, the Director of Road Transportation, Suharto conveyed that 28 cities Destination for Homecoming and Balik this year were spread across the provinces of West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, and Sumatra.
In detail, the three destination cities in West Java are Garut, Tasikmalaya, and Cirebon. Then in Central Java-DIY Province as many as 18 cities namely Solo, Tegal, Pekalongan, Semarang, Demak, Jepara, Pati, Blora, Boyolali, Klaten, Wonogiri, Purwokerto, Cilacap, Wonosobo, Kebumen, Magelang, Wonosari, and Yogyakarta.
Furthermore, five cities in East Java Province are Madiun, Surabaya, Tuban, Malang, and Tulungagung. And finally the Sumatra 2 Kota areas are Lampung and Palembang.
"Meanwhile, for the city of departure/original flow there are 8 cities, namely Solo, Cirebon, Madiun, Surabaya, Semarang, Purwokerto, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta. As for the destination for Homecoming and Balik for the transportation of motorcycles as many as five cities, namely Solo, Semarang, Purwokerto, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta," said Suharto.
The handover of motorbikes for homecoming flow activities will be carried out on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Terminal Type A Pondok Cabe, South Tangerang and will depart on Monday, April 17, 2023.
"For passenger departures, the homecoming flow will depart from 5 terminals, namely Pulogebang Jakarta Terminal, Pondok Cabe Type A Terminal South Tangerang, and Jatijajar Terminal A Depok, on April 18, 2023. Meanwhile, the Kampung Rambutan Terminal Jakarta and Poris Plawad Type A Terminal on April 19, 2023," he said.
Then, Suharto said that for the departure of the backflow of motorcycle transport on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5 type A terminals, namely the cities of Solo, Semarang, Purwokerto, Wonogiri and Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, the departure of passenger flow on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 8 city type A terminals from departure, namely Solo, Cirebon, Madiun, Surabaya, Semarang, Purwokerto, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta.
The following are the list requirements for participating in the 2023 Ministry of Transportation's free homecoming:
1. Participants are required to have valid population documents when registering (KTP/SIM/KK).
2. Participants can only choose one city to go home.
3. If participants will follow homecoming/PP, then backflow registration is carried out simultaneously when registering for homecoming flow (with a note, the city to go home is chosen, there is a choice of backflow city and participants can only follow backflow according to the city to the homecoming flow destination).
4. Participants are only given D + 7 time after the registration date, to re-register/revalidate at the designated post.
5. If through D+7 participants do not re-validate, then the participant data is considered invalid/hangus (the quota will automatically increase), and cannot re-registered (NIK is blocked by the system) in order to provide opportunities for other participants who want to register/not yet get a quota of homecoming/reverse.
6. Participants who go back and forth on motorbikes, must bring complete vehicle documents. And hand over the motorbike according to the date determined/H-1 before the bus ceremonial date.
7. Participants are in good physical and spiritual health at the time of departure of the homecoming / reverse flow.
8. Participants must come at least one hour before departure time.
