DKI BPBD: Pertamina Plumpang Depot Fire Survivors Have Left Refugee Locations

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta BPBD said that all Pertamina Plumpang depot fire survivors had left the North Jakarta Red Cross (PMI) headquarters and the Rawa Badak Selatan Children Friendly Open Public Space (RPTRA Rasela).

"Currently, there are no refugees living in the RPTRA Rasela refugee camps and the North Jakarta PMI Office," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Isnawa Adji as quoted in a PPID press release in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, March 11.

It has not been explained where the fire survivors, who on Friday still numbered 41 people, moved, but the data from the DKI BPBD at 18.00 WIB recorded 82 survivors of the fire who lived temporarily at the RW09 Refugee Command Post, Rawa Badak Selatan Village.

Meanwhile, 26 firefighters are still being treated by the medical team in four hospitals.

Previously, the North Jakarta City Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept. provided population administration services (adminduk) for 442 fire survivors at Pertamina Plumpang Depot, Koja.

Head of the North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-department, Edward Idris, said the administrative service entitled Kasih Tunta Tumbaga Bencana Pebakaran Plumpang at the evacuation site of the PMI Jakut Headquarters and RPTRA Rasela had also been terminated, Friday, and transferred to the administrative counter at every kelurahan office in the North Jakarta area.

For five days, officers provided 125 requests for the issuance of Electronic Identity Cards (KTP-El), 52 issuance of Family Cards (KK), 26 issuance of Birth Certificates, ten issuance of Child Identity Cards (KIA), two Death Certificates, 85 Digital Population Identity Installation (IKD), 140 consulting services, and two other types of services.

After being abandoned by Plumpang fire survivors, North Jakarta PMI continues to make their headquarters a communication post to facilitate the distribution and request for humanitarian assistance for 24 hours.
