COVID-19 Update As Of March 10: 312 New Cases, 3,095 Active Cases
JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 19,424 specimens were examined with the results of 295 new positive cases of COVID-19. "The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 6,738,520 people and active cases rose 96 to 3,203 cases", as quoted from the COVID-19 Task Force data, Friday, March 10.The recovered cases today increased by 196 people, bringing the total to 6,574,373 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 3 cases and a total of 160,937 people.Provinces with the most new cases were in DKI Jakarta with 154 cases and a total of 1,543,081 cases. Followed by West Java 66 new cases with a total of 1,236,985 cases. East Java 20 new cases and a total of 638,318 cases. Banten 16 new cases and a total of 366,684 cases. The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 99 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an increase of 25 recovered cases, West Java with an increase of 25 recovered cases, and East Java with an increase of 21 recovered cases. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 115,598,261. Positive results per number of people examined or a positivity rate of people this week are 1.40 percent," he wrote. For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, recorded at 1,155 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 212,032,380 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 175,385,577 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
