The Bright Spot Of The Iron Mining Corruption, The NTB Prosecutor's Office Has Pocketed The Name Of The Suspect
The Special Criminal Investigator of the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati NTB) has pocketed the suspect's name for the alleged corruption case of an iron sand mine in the Dedalpak Block, East Lombok Regency.
Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, in Mataram, said that his party would reveal the certainty of this after the determination of the results of the investigation case title.
"There is already a candidate. However, officially in the near future we will announce anyone, wait for the title," said Efrien as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 10.
He also assured that the results of a search at the NTB Energy and Mineral Resources Office (ESDM) and the Office of PT Anugerah Mitra Graha (AMG), last Thursday, became complementary material for the case title.
"The search results document will still be investigated first, later whether it can be used as evidence for the purpose of determining or not," he said.
In handling this case that leads to allegations of corruption, the prosecutor's investigator is noted to have examined a number of regional officials.
Those present underwent an examination, including the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of NTB Lalu Gita Ariadi, East Lombok Regent Sukiman Azmy, former East Lombok Regent Ali Bin Dachlan, NTB ESDM Service Head Zainal Abidin along with officials within the NTB ESDM Service and the NTB Representative Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
There was also an examination of the company that bought the material from the iron sand mine. The company headquartered in Palembang, it is PT Semen Baturaja (SMBR). For the examination of PT AMG, the NTB Prosecutor's Office has not transparently disclosed this to the public.
Even in this case, the prosecutor has not revealed the direction of the handling that has been confirmed to be related to the alleged corruption. Including, the prosecutor's efforts to complete evidence related to state losses.
Head of the NTB Energy and Mineral Resources Agency Zainal Abidin previously revealed that PT AMG, which acts as an iron sand mining company in the Dedalpak Block, has obtained the legality of permits that are valid for 15 years from 2011 to 2026.
However, there are allegations that the company headquartered in North Jakarta will carry out mining activities from 2021 to 2022 without obtaining approval from the annual work plan and budget (RKAB) from the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
