World Legends Crowd To Support Erick Thohir Fix National Football, There Are Roberto Carlos And John Terry
JAKARTA Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Erick Thohir received support from world football legends. He is also expected to make changes to national football.
The remarks were exhibited by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) on his Twitter social media on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The legends who sent the words were Roberto Carlos, Marco Materazzi, John Terry, Javier Zanetti, and Wesley Sneijder.
"Congratulations and the best prayers for Indonesian football. A warm hug from me. See you soon," reads a speech from Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos.
A similar remark was conveyed by former Italian national team defender and Inter Milan Materazzi. He slipped the hope that the face of Indonesian football in Erick's hands could change soon.
"Hi Erick, congratulations and the best prayers for Indonesian football. Hopefully we meet again," said Materazzi.
Then a much longer remark was expressed by John Terry. The former Chelsea defender and England national team even hope to collaborate with Erick.
"Hi Erick, John Terry is here. I just want to say a great congratulations and wish you and Indonesian football. I wish you all the best," said John Terry.
"And I hope you can work together with you soon again. Good luck," he added.

Support for Erick also came out of the mouths of Javier Zanetti and Wesley Sneijder. The former Argentine and Dutch national team players also congratulated the former president of Inter Milan.
"Hi Erick, congratulations and the best prayers for Indonesian football," said Javier Zanetti.
"Hi, Mr. Erick Thohir, Wesley Sneijder is here. Congratulations on being the General Chair of PSSI. Greetings from me and I hope we can meet. Good luck," said Wesley Sneijder.
Erick was elected chairman of the national football parent at the extraordinary congress which took place on February 16. He is ahead of his competitors Arif Putra Wicaksono, Doni Setiabudi, and LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti.
