Presidential Inap Facilities At IKN Can Be Tasted Candidates For Investors
Prospective investors and residential enthusiasts in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) can taste the lodging facilities currently used by Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to spend the night in the IKN Central Government Core Area (KIPP).
This was conveyed by the Head of the IKN Authority, Bambang Susantono, who explained about the lodging cabin facilities used by the President and First Lady Iriana Jokowi and a number of ministers to spend the night at KIPP IKN, North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, Thursday.
"Actually, this is to accommodate interest from potential residents and potential investors to experience in IKN Nusantara," Bambang said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 25.
Bambang explained that his party deliberately built these cabin facilities to offer this experience for potential investors and those interested in owning housing in the archipelago later.
"People can feel how will this archipelago become a city in the middle of the forest or sustainable forest city, which will develop and will also become one of the magnetic centers of Indonesia's economic growth in the future," he said.
According to the Head of the IKN Authority, cabin facilities with the concept of a luxury camp or glamping are not permanent and will be moved along with the progress of the development of the archipelago.
Moreover, Bambang continued, the concept of environmental tourism or ecotourism is indeed proclaimed as one of the main spirits of the archipelago in the future.
"Ecoutourism will be one of the spirits of this city going forward, but not only that, this city will later become a city of government, a business city, a city of education, and most importantly everything is united with nature," he said.
Bambang emphasized the aspect of harmony, which is also an important philosophy in the development of the archipelago.
"So there is harmony between nature, then humans, and also culture. People, nature, and culture are called," said Bambang.
The President spent the night at KIPP IKN after making a number of working visits in the area that will become the new capital city.
A number of officials who spent the night at KIPP IKN accompanying the President were Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Hadi Tjahjanto.
