Apparently, The First Song Created By Iwan Fals Criticizes His Junior High School Teacher

JAKARTA In an interview with Soleh Solihun on YouTube some time ago, Iwan Fals revealed the first song he made, about protesting against teachers at his school while in junior high school.

Iwan Fals called the song entitled Me and School.

"Even though I didn't know where the file was at at that time, but the title of the song was Me and the School. Yes, it was during the junior high school era, at SMP 5 Bandung," the legend opened.

Iwan Fals also conveyed the process of making the song which turned out to be intentional.

"Initially, at that time there was a responsibility to make a group vocal at junior high school, I just showed my hand when I was asked who could play the guitar, even though I couldn't do it at all. So from there I didn't want to catch up, learning until my hands fell. In that process, I didn't know the song, because I didn't know the final song, I made a song, "said Iwan Fals.

"Yes, basically at that time the lyrics were seven times, when I woke up in the morning..., now there is a teacher's name that I don't want to mention his name here, so the lyrics are like this... I was scolded by the teacher with observant eyes... I forgot after that," he added.

"Anyway, there are beautiful teachers, I'm angry because they are late, and I criticize the teacher but that's not the matter. I criticized her because there was a woman who used lipstick at school, then her lipstick was flattened to her face with the teacher. I didn't get the file until now. just not the lyrics are a bit vague," explained Iwan Fals.

It didn't stop there, Iwan Fals also added that he had performed the song on stage.
