The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Will Not Ignore TNI Personnel Who Will Help The Regent Of Central Mamberamo To Papua New Guinea
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) does not want to talk much about TNI personnel who helped the inactive Central Mamberamo Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak escape to Papua New Guinea. They fully handed over the fate of the soldier to his unit.
"There are people involved, of course, that's the TNI's capacity," said KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, Monday, February 21.
Even so, Firli said, his party had coordinated with the TNI. "We have discussed it with the TNI Commander, we have also conveyed it to the Army Chief of Staff," he said.
Previously, the KPK had mentioned Ricky running away to Papua New Guinea with the help of a TNI soldier. It's just that, after successfully escaping, the suspect in the alleged bribery, gratification and money laundering actually returned to Papua until it finally succeeded on Sunday, February 19.
In this case, he allegedly received bribes and gratuities of up to Rp200 billion. This acceptance was made from contractors who wanted to get projects in Central Mamberamo Regency.
There are three contractors who are said to have given money, namely the Director of PT Solata Sukses Building, Marten Toding; President Director of PT Bina Karya Raya, Simon Mampang; and Director of PT Bumi Abadi Perkasa Jusiendra Pribadi Pampang.
In detail, Jusiendra got 18 work packages with a total value of Rp. 217.7 billion. Projects built include the construction of student dormitories in Jayapura.
While Simon got six packages worth Rp179.4 billion and Marten got three work packages with a value of Rp9.4 billion. This work was obtained by the three private sector after they agreed with Ricky to give money.
From that receipt, Ricky was then suspected of laundering money by spending it to disguise the proceeds of bribes and gratuities.
