NTB Inspectorate Handles Alleged Corruption in the Distribution of Cattle Seeds in West Lombok
MATARAM - The Inspectorate of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) asked the Mataram District Attorney's Special Crime investigators to handle cases of alleged corruption and cattle breeding in West Lombok Regency.
The Inspector of the Inspectorate of West Nusa Tenggara, Ibnu Salim, said that the request was a requirement for the audit team to complete the process of calculating state losses.
"Right now we are still waiting for data, the form is an additional document from investigators", said Ibnu, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 14.
Regarding this need, the Head of the Intelligence Section at the Mataram District Attorney's Office, Ida Bagus Putu Widnyana, confirmed that a request had been received from the inspectorate regarding additional data for calculating state losses in the alleged cow breeding corruption case.
"Yes, the request from the inspectorate is now being prepared", said Widnyana.
He said that the additional data related to the cattle breeding document, including the activity implementation contract.
The cattle breeding assistance project in West Lombok Regency is derived from four packages of goods procurement work in 2020.
Assistance for livestock farmer groups is channelled through the West Lombok Agriculture Office with funding sources from the West Lombok Regional House of Representatives main idea fund.
According to data from the official website of the West Lombok LPSE (information technology management services to facilitate the implementation of the Procurement of Goods), the procurement package for exotic or Simmental cattle breeds has a price ceiling of IDR 540 million. The project was carried out by a company with the initials NMU from Central Lombok Regency with an offering price of IDR 489 million.
The NMU company again won the bid for the second package for the procurement of cattle seeds with an offering price of IDR 453.6 million from a budget ceiling of IDR 504 million.
Likewise in the third package, the NMU company emerged as the winner of the tender for the procurement of goat seeds. The offering price is IDR 300 million according to the package budget ceiling.
The fourth package is budgeted through 2020 Revised APBD. The procurement is carried out by the West Lombok Agriculture Service with a budget ceiling of IDR 2.244 billion for the procurement of 264 cattle seeds.
The tender for the fourth package of cattle breeds was attended by 34 participants. The winner is a company with the initials BJ which is located in Kota Bima with an offering price of IDR 1.977 billion.

The handling of the case from the project which will be running in 2020 has gone up to the investigation stage according to the Investigation Order of the Head of the Mataram Prosecutor's Office Number: Print-01/N.2.10/Fd.1/06/2022 dated June 27 2022.
Investigators stated that this case went to the investigation stage with indications of unlawful acts leading to alleged violations of the Indonesia Law on the Eradication of Corruption Crimes.
