Fire At The Densely Populated Settlement Of The Cawang Area Due To The Printer Machine

JAKARTA - East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers managed to extinguish the fire due to a 2-story house fire in the Arus alley, Jalan Dewi Sartika, Cawang, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

"It has been extinguished, the status is green. The blackout is complete," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, Monday, February 13.

From the results of the investigation by Gulkarmat officers, the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. The fire then burned the 2-story house with a burning object of about 6x10 square meters.

"Losses are estimated at Rp. 300 million. Samsuri's house. The fire broke out after an electrical short in the 2nd floor room containing electronic printers, resulting in fire lighting. The fire spread to the 1st floor and grew bigger," he said.

Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire incident. One owner of the house was rescued.
