Member Of The DPR RI Invites All Parties To Take Hikmah From The 2022 GPA Decree

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR RI Wayan Sudirta stated that all parties can take lessons from the decline in the Corruption Perception Index (IPK) in 2022. "I tend to take lessons from declining perceptions, by reminding law enforcement friends, the KPK, the Prosecutor's Office and the police not to be complacent," he said after discussions in Jakarta, Sunday, February 12. According to him, the decline in the GPA must be appreciated, because the GPA is perception, the GPA is not data and facts, so don't face it between perceptions and data. This was also conveyed by Wayan in a discussion held Total Politics with the theme "Corruption Perception Melorot, The Performance of Corruption Eradication Disorot".The Indonesian Corruption Perception Index dropped from rank 96 in 2021 to 110 in 2022. He emphasized that inputs and criticisms related to the decline in the index by academics and NGOs, should not be seen as negative and apriori.

"Their criticism is the love of Jokowi and the KPK," said Sudirta, as quoted by Antara. According to him, this criticism must be accepted as a reality that must be faced together. He also emphasized that if someone blames the Joko Widodo government, it would be very unfair. "If the decline in the GPA is borne by President Jokowi alone, it is unfair," he said. he reminded that he never lost hope regarding efforts to eradicate corruption in Indonesia. "Never lose hope. I believe in the future with a changing perception, will go up," he ordered.
