JAKARTA - Dewa 19 and Virzha closed the first day of the Music Market Festival at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Friday, January 10. They performed optimally by performing their best ten songs.

Without further ado, Dewa 19 immediately kicked off that night with the song Pangeran Cinta sung by the frontman Dewa 19, Ahmad Dhani duet with Virzha.

After the Prince of Love, Dewa's 19 appearance continued through the number Arjuna Looking for Love which is the song on the 2002 album Cintalah Cinta.

At this event, Dewa 19 was present in a complete formation. Together with Virzha, the formation of Dewa 19 is Ahmad Dhani (keyboards/synth), Andra Ramadhan (guitar), Yuke Sampurna (bass), and Agung Gybal (drums), and assisted by Vega Antares (guitar).

After opening with two songs, Virzha then greeted the audience who had faithfully awaited the band's presence even though it had previously rained at night.

"Thank you for waiting for the Gods until this late. Someone came from noon? Salut Baladewa. How was the fun night? The one behind, we haven't heard his voice. And for the one named Dewi, you were lucky tonight," said Virzha before starting the song Dewi quoted from ANTARA.

Dewa 19 and Virzha did not interact much with the audience this time. However, Dewa 19's main performance is Virzha in the vocal sector as long as the performance is of excellent quality.

The song Borut from the album Republik Cinta is next-to-leading order followed by the song Risalah Hati which highlights the complicated but harmonious replacement of chords in the style of Dewa 19.

"We will continue, this time we will celebrate this song, Ahmad Dhani," shouted Virzha as a sign for the song While Wanting to Make Love.

Appearing simply wearing a black shirt and his trademark hat, Ahmad Dhani is a mass karaoke regulator for hundreds of Dewa 19 fans who are familiarly called Baladewa.

"Again, here? Okay, all hands above. Good, hold on. Follow the tempo of our song," asked Virzha who took over the vocal department again.

This time he invited the entire audience to shake hands following the rhythm of the anthem of the Dewa 19 orchestra, Roman Picisan, which came from the 2000 album Bintang Lima.

The song Pupus and Kangen became two tracks towards the end of Dewa 19's appearance with Virzha that night. Before saying goodbye, Virzha thanked all the supporters of the event and spectators who remained orderly throughout the first day of the 2023 Music Market Festival.
