Public Facilities At Kebang Kemilau Beach, Central Bangka, Were Damaged, The Buru Police Were The Perpetrators
KOBA - Central Bangka Resort Police, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, is investigating cases of alleged damage to regional assets that occurred at several points.
"There have been several reports that have come to us regarding the alleged destruction of assets belonging to the region, which incidentally are state assets, we are currently investigating," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Bangka Police, AKP Wawan Suryadinata, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 9.
Among the destruction of assets in the form of physical facilities for the Kebang Kemilau Beach tourist attraction, Koba District, which is suspected to have been carried out by beach visitors.
"It also occurs at several other points where these facilities are regional assets for the general public," he said.
He emphasized that the perpetrators of the destruction of state assets could be reported and could be punished.
"If those who have assets do not want peace, the perpetrators can be legally processed and can also be reconciled through mediation efforts," he said.
He said the case of destroying state assets could be intentional because of the intention to steal and there was also nosy behavior of unscrupulous people.
"So we have to investigate based on the report, then we will investigate whether this is damage or theft or nosy actions by residents," he said.
His party will also increase patrol activities at several points, especially public facilities such as squares and tourist attraction areas.
"But we can't reach all of them, if someone escapes, we also ask the public to report it," he said.
