Garbage Truck Of The DKI LH Office Collising A Permanent Bicycle Line On Sudirman Street
JAKARTA - A garbage truck belonging to the DKI Jakarta Environment Agency (DLH) crashed into a permanent bicycle lane planter box on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta, near BNI City Station. The truck explosion resulted in a number of concrete barriers on the bicycle lane scattering.
This incident was revealed by the Indonesian Bike to Work (B2W) cyclist community. Chairman of B2W Indonesia Fahmi Saimima admitted that his party saw this condition this morning.
"We immediately checked at the TKP. There, asked the officer and it turned out that the planter box was hit by a car from the Environment Agency," Fahmi said when contacted, Wednesday, February 8.
Fahmi said that his party had asked the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya for information. However, there was no response.
"We confirmed to the Metro Police there was no response, finally we found out for ourselves, it turned out that we were hit by an environmental car," said Fahmi.
Confirmed separately, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, confirmed the incident of an LH Service truck that hit a concrete barrier on a permanent bicycle lane. Syafrin said the collision occurred today at 05.42 WIB.
"It happened at around 05.42 WIB. There were about 14 planned boxes shifted, 4 of which were damaged," said Syafrin.
The handling of the disordered planter box was repaired by the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency at 09.00-11.00 WIB. Now, the location of the crash of the planter box has returned to normal.
"The condition is now neat again. We will replace the 4 damaged planters box," he said.
