Eight Command Posts Prepared Handling Forest Fires In OKU South Sumatra

BATURAJA - The Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency Government in South Sumatra Province established eight forest and land fire control posts in sub-districts whose areas are prone to forest and land fires. Operation Control Center Manager of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of OKU Gunalfi Regency said that forest and land fires prevention posts were established in the Ulu Ogan, Muara Jaya, Pengandonan, Semidang Aji, Lengkiti, Sosoh Buay Rayap, Lubuk Batang, and Kedaton Rayajaan. "These posts have also been prepared in each area so that forest or agricultural land fires can be immediately contained," he said in Baturaja, Tuesday.
