In Order To Enter The Gelora Delta Stadium, Many 1 Century NU Participants Go Up By Pagar Via The Mangga Tree
JAKARTA - A number of commemoration participants of a century of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) at the Gelora Delta Sidoarjo Stadium, East Java, were desperate to climb a two-meter-high fence to enter the stadium complex. The participants, which is dominated by men, climbed using the branches of a mango tree outside the Gelora Delta Sidoarjo Stadium complex. "Come on, go up, be careful. Watch out for your feet," said Andi, one of the participants who helped his colleagues ride using mango tree branches, Tuesday, February 7, reported by Antara. The participants were desperate to climb into the stadium because the main road, for access to entry is already full of human oceans.
Participants who were outside the stadium held a mat and sat along the road around Gelora Delta Sidoarjo, namely on Jalan Pahlawan with a length of 1.5 kilometers and also on Jalan Raya Ponti with a length of 1 kilometer. Many participants also did not enter the stadium due to limited capacity and chose to see the activity through large screens installed at certain points.
The impact of the large number of people who came caused traffic jams on a number of roads in Sidoarjo between Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan KH Mukmin, Jalan Diponegoro, Jalan Thamrin. This is because some roads are used to park participant vehicles such as buses and other private vehicles. At the peak of receptions a century NU was attended by a number of cabinet ministers such as Luhut Panjaitan, Prabowo Subianto, Sandiaga Uno, Ida Fauziyah. Present on that occasion, the National Police Chief and also the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa together with the Deputy Governor of East Java Email Dardak.
