Regarding Pension Funds Having Problems, The SOE Minister's Subordinates: Wait For A Surprise From The KPK!
Special Staff to the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga said his party was waiting for the results of an investigation from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) related to the problematic Pension Fund (Dapen).
"We are waiting for the KPK. It's the same when we give the Prosecutor's Office the data after that the Prosecutor's Office will process it, what we ended didn't know was a bit surprising as well as the consequences," said Arya at the BUMN Ministry Office, Jakarta, Friday, February 3.
Based on his experience when working with the Attorney General's Office (AGO), Arya said, there were differences in the data between the results of the audit reported and the investigations developed in the realm of law.
"It's a bit of a surprise when we give the prosecutor's office, there is a surprise, because it's different, between us, our investigation report is audited, after that, when the legal realm is different," he said.
"In the past, we saw that the prosecutor's office had a lot of surprise. So suddenly we didn't think there was a suspect. We don't know. So if this is the KPK, we will see how the KPK is, what we must have given is Dapen," he continued.
Arya said, related to the Dapen case, it was the result of a report from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Therefore, continued Arya, the Ministry of SOEs in the future will tighten the management of companies involving state-owned companies.
For example, Dapen, a state-owned company A, so far he has not participated in deciding where to invest. So the only thing that determines is Dapen, in the future we will be the beneficiaries and take care of all the SOEs," he said.
Arya said that currently his party is drafting regulations so that the Director of Finance and the Director of Human Capital in each BUMN can be involved in determining investments.
"Also in the provisions whether he is okay or not, it's okay with investment. This is what we are discussing, hopefully this is also still a rule, but if this becomes quite good," he said.
