Menpora's Response To The Statement Of Arema FC Management Which Opens Opportunities To Spread Yourself
JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali, responded to Arema FC's management statement that took the initiative to disperse if the situation in Malang was not conducive.
The Minister of Youth and Sports said he did not have the authority to interfere. However, he still fully supports Singo Edan so that he can still take part in League 1.
"I don't know, it (the plan to disband) is outside our (authority)," replied Zainudin Amali when asked about the issues circulating when met at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Monday, January 30 afternoon.
"Yes, I hope, all the existing clubs, the existing ones, please play," he continued.
Previously, it was known that the Singo Edan discourse would disperse due to conditions in Malang after Turing in Kanjuruhan. After the incident that killed 137 supporters, Arema FC continued to be hit by problems.
Recently, Aremania's protest action at Arema FC's office, on Sunday, January 30, which led to chaos. Previously, the Arema FC bus was also attacked by unscrupulous supporters after undergoing the 20th week of Liga 1 against PSS Sleman at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman.
These detrimental actions were also mentioned by the Minister of Youth and Sports. He said that supporters should be able to control their emotions in supporting their favorite team, including the throwing of buses for Persis Solo players by Persita Tangerang supporters.
"You must not show anger with such anarchism. So, the incident in Tangerang was also immediately handled," said the Minister of Youth and Sports.
"The police have acted decisively, 107 people (the perpetrators of the riots at Arema FC headquarters) were arrested. I think it should be like that," he continued, responding firmly to the rioting supporters.
The Minister of Youth and Sports also handed over the handling of various anarchic acts carried out by unscrupulous supporters to the authorities. He supports the full steps for strict law enforcement.
"We support the police's steps in enforcing the rules. In accordance with the rules, so that anyone who intends to make a riot is handled by the existing legal rules," he concluded.
