JAKARTA - IKN Deputy for Green Transformation and Digital Authority Mohammed Ali Berawi said collaboration between stakeholders was needed for infrastructure development in the State Capital (IKN) in East Kalimantan.

"I believe this is going well, it is difficult at the beginning, but it can go well. The hope is that in the future it will be much better, because to produce added value, optimal achievements, 4k (coordination, collaboration, consolidation, communication) as I mentioned earlier is very important," he said.
For your information, the progress of the first phase of IKN infrastructure development has been started some time ago, which includes logistics access roads to the Central Government Core Area (KIPP), the construction of the West Side National Ambu Road, the construction of Ring Road Sepaku Section 4, the construction of a worker housing complex, as well as the construction of an intake pipe and transmission of the Sepaku River.
Then, the progress of the second phase of infrastructure development which includes the construction of the Sepaku Semoi Dam, which is a supplier of drinking water for the archipelago, Mentawir nurseries, and the construction of reservoirs in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP).
Furthermore, the smart and digital village community empowerment program includes community empowerment in Bukit Raya Village, North Penajam Paser Regency, and the construction of digital communication centers in similar locations.
