Walkot Idris Officially Depok Music Park, Building With A Capacity Of 150 People For Art Events

Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris confirmed the Depok City Culture Council (Dekade) as a government partner since 2022 chaired by Awaluddin Faj.

Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris called the Cultural Council a driving force for cultural arts actors in the area. Idris hopes that the existence of the Cultural Council can collaborate with all cultural arts actors with various ethnicities and ethnicities, so that the cultural value in Depok City has peculiarities.

"According to the Regional Regulation on Culture, the identity of Depok City culture is Betawi Depok, which summarizes all existing cultures. There are Sundanese, Javanya, Gunung Kidul is extraordinary in Depok, even the Ponorogo Reig. Many art actors from various regions gather in Depok, that's what we are developing," said Idris, Friday, January 27, quoted by Antara.

To support the activities of the Cultural Council, the Depok City Government inaugurated the Depok Music Park (Tamude) Building on Jalan Merdeka, Abadijaya Village. Tamude is a music art community that uses the Youth Building to train for years.

The Depok City Government then built a building to facilitate them to develop their creativity in the art sector.

"Hopefully this Tamude building can be used for educational music events," he said.

The mayor said the building with a capacity of 150 spectators could be used by all art actors. Not only music art so that all art culture in Depok City is increasingly known and developed.

"We hope that the Tamude building can be presented again in several places," he said.

The Tamude building was built by the Depok City Government using the 2022 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) worth IDR 5.8 billion.
