The Ministry Of PUPR Allocates Rp2.1 Trillion For The Labor Intensive Program
JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has allocated a budget for labor-intensive programs of IDR 2.1 trillion this year.
"We convey Rp2.1 trillion related to community-based infrastructure or the Labor Intensive Program," said Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR Diana Kusumastuti at a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V DPR RI monitored online, Tuesday, January 24.
Diana said that this year's labor-intensive program in the field of Cipta Karya is targeted to absorb 62,000 workers.
Later, from the entire Labor Intensive Program allocation of IDR 2.1 trillion, it will be used for the Community-Based Sanitation Program (Sanimas) in 1,890 locations.
Then, for the Religious Education Sanitation Program in 1,550 Locations, the Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle (TPS3R) Waste Management Program in 307 locations.
Next, for Extreme Poverty Handling in 70 Locations, Community-Based Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Programs (Pamsimas) in 1,063 villages, as well as Regional Socio-Economic Infrastructure Development Programs (PISEW) in 1,340 sub-districts.
Throughout 2022, the realization of the labor-intensive program in the field of Cipta Karya was recorded at IDR 2.192 trillion from the total ceiling allocation of IDR 2.193 trillion, with employment absorption of 105.333 people.
Previously, the Ministry of PUPR allocated a budget of IDR 15.07 trillion for the Labor Intensive Program in order to create jobs in 2023.
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said, to help create job opportunities and maintain people's purchasing power this year, the Ministry of PUPR will intensify the implementation of the Labor Intensive Program.
The target of all beneficiaries of this year's labor-intensive program reaches around 785 thousand people.
