A 13-year-old Boy Drowned In The Ciliwung River, South Jakarta, Still In The Search For A Joint Team
JAKARTA - Dozens of personnel from the joint SAR team are looking for a 13-year-old boy named Angga who allegedly drowned under the Ciliwung River bridge, Bukit Duri, Tebet, South Jakarta. The search was carried out since Angga was reported missing, on Monday, January 23, at around 15.00 WIB.
"On Tuesday, we are continuing our search by expanding the search area and involving 40 joint personnel," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) Fazzli in a SAR operation in a written statement, Tuesday, January 24.
Fazzli detailed that the joint SAR personnel involved in the SAR operation consisted of the Jakarta SAR Office, Tebet Police, Bukit Duri Village Satpol PP, DKI Jakarta BPBD, Bukit Duri PPSU, South Jakarta Gulkarmat Service, Greater Jakarta IEA, Tebet Command Post AGD, Response Team, Hirpala, ESLAN, Garda Astar, Katana Jatimulya, TBI, and the community.
According to Fazzli, the search for a 13-year-old child has been carried out since Monday night, January 23, but the results were nil because of the situation on the field where there was little light.
Therefore, in the morning, joint SAR personnel were divided into three search teams, namely the first team conducted a search using a rubber boat (rubber boat) with a distance of three kilometers from the scene.
"Then the second team conducted a visual search of the land route with a distance of three kilometers from the scene, and the third team conducted a dive around the scene of the incident at a radius of ten meters," he explained.
He added that his party is still searching from morning to evening to find victims.
A boy named Muhammad Wirlangga or familiarly called Angga, 13 years old, played in the Ciliwung River Bridge Kolong, Bukit Duri, Tebet, South Jakarta with four of his friends.
While playing in the middle of the river, the victim could not swim and drowned by the current, until now the victim has not been found.
