Heroic Students In Bogor Helping The Firefighters, His Grandma Worried That He Was Viral Because Of Brawl

JAKARTA - Alfin (14), a student at SMP Negeri 7 Bogor City who has gone viral on social media because of his heroic actions. He took to the road to help firefighters who were trying to open a lane when crossing the Empang area, Bogor City, Thursday, January 19 afternoon.

Alfin said that when he came home from school and waited for public transportation, he suddenly heard a fire engine siren that could not move due to heavy traffic.

"I took the initiative to open a road in the middle. Previously, I also helped with the same thing but for an ambulance," said Alfin, Tuesday, January 24.

Alfin himself did not know that his action was viral because he did not have social media.

"I know from friends in WA because I don't have Instagram. In the school's WA group, many send them too. Even though I didn't even realize that the officers were videotaping them. Suddenly they appeared everywhere," said Alfin.

In fact, he said, his grandmother was shocked because she was worried that Alfin would go viral because he was involved in negative things, such as fights.

"At first, my grandmother was shocked. She was really afraid that I would fight. After my sister explained, she calmed down," said the student who dreams of becoming a member of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).

Alfin is also a member of the Bogor City Kwarcab Scouts who are considered very simple. In fact, he often goes to and from school by walking about 3 kilometers to save pocket money. The action also invited the Mayor of Bogor to meet Alfin in Kampung Muara Kidul, Pasir Jaya, West Bogor. It is known that Alfin has the full name Alfin Alfarizqi.

Therefore, Bima Arya gave gifts to Alfin in the form of bicycles, shoes, books, and so on.

"This is a gift for helping residents, a gift for inspiring many people, making it easier for officers. Young people really have to do that. Be brave in kindness, and help people. Very meritorious. Thank you Alfin," said Bima to Alfin.

Bima said, Alfin is a good example who practices the Dasa Darma Scouts well, has compassion for fellow human beings, is willing to help, and is also brave.

Bima Arya added that he gave this to Alfin because he had helped residents, inspired many people, and made it easier for officers. According to Bima Arya, it is fitting for young people to be brave in doing good and helping people.

"Very meritorious, thank you Alfin. Alfin is a good example who practices the Dasa Darma Scouting well, compassion for fellow human beings, willing to help and also brave. Hopefully he is always healthy, his dream (to become the TNI) will come true," he added.
