YOGYAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo has historical memories with the late Indonesian Ambassador to Italy, Muhammad Prakosa. Ganjar said Prakosa was the person who brought PDIP recommendations for him to run as Governor of Central Java for the first period.

This was conveyed by Ganjar at the Prakosan Hall, in Gersik Hamlet, Sumbermulyo Village, Kapanewon Bambanglipuro, Bantul Regency, Monday evening, January 23, when he came to express his condolences to the family of Ambassador Prakosa.

"(He knows) it's been a long time since he became a minister. At that time I was still in the Party Education and Training Agency, so we often communicated with him. At that time, PDI-P cadres were still rare in the executive," he said.
