Bela Lukas Enembe, OC Kaligis Ever Fired The Sukamiskin Prison Gegara Supap Hakim At The Medan Administrative Court
JAKARTA - Otto Cornelis or OC Kaligis is the lawyer for the inactive Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. He was appointed by the family to accompany the suspect in the alleged bribery and gratification."The family appointed OC Kaligis as Pak Lukas' legal team," said one of Lukas' legal team, Stefanus Roy Rening, to reporters, Friday, January 20.The name OC Kaligis was then in the spotlight. The reason is that he was once a resident of Sukamiskin Prison, Bandung because he was proven to have bribed Judge and Registrar of the State Administrative Court (PTUN) Medan, North Sumatra.The money given amounted to 27 thousand US dollars and 5,000 Singapore dollars. This gift was made with the aim of influencing the decision to examine the authority of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office.As a result of his actions, OC was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 300 million, subsidiary to 4 months in prison at the Jakarta Corruption Court level. However, this lawyer then filed an appeal.For this appeal, OC's sentence was even increased to 7 years in prison. He then left Sukamiskin Prison, Bandung on March 15, 2022, with a leave before his release (CMB) status and was monitored for three months.The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) responded to Lukas' appointment of OC Kaligis as his attorney. Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said his party would not interfere because the appointment was the right of the suspect.However, the KPK hopes that this appointment will make the investigation of the case against Lukas run smoothly. "Because the person concerned certainly really understands the applicable criminal procedure law," Ali told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.As previously reported, Lukas Enembe was detained at the KPK Detention Center Pomdam Jaya Guntur branch for allegedly accepting bribes and gratuities related to a number of projects in Papua.The receipt is thought to have come from the Director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijantono Lakka, so that the company gets a project. The KPK said that this collusion was also carried out by Lukas along with other Papuan provincial government officials.As for the case, the KPK said there was an agreement to provide a fee of 14 percent of the contract value. Fee must be free from tax reduction.At least, there are three projects that Rijantono got for this evil consensus. The first is the improvement of the Entro-Hamadi Road with a project value of Rp. 14.8 billion.Rehabilitation of facilities and infrastructure supporting PAUD Integration with a project value of IDR 13.3 billion. Finally, the venue environmental planning project developed outdoor AURI with a project value of IDR 12.9 billion.After the project was won, Rijantono handed over Rp1 billion to Lukas. In addition, Lukas is also suspected of receiving gratuities of up to billions of rupiah.
