Upload Of Cristiano Ronaldo After Scoring 2 Goals Against PSG In Front Of Lionel Messi

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo finally returned to playing football after the 2022 World Cup. The Portuguese superstar played from the first minute when the Al Nassr-Al Hilal joint squad beat 4-5 Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at King Fahd Stadium, Friday, January 20 early WIB day.

Ronaldo admits that he is happy to be back playing football for the first time since defending the Portugal national team at the 2022 World Cup. He is also happy to be able to score goals and meet several of his former teammates while at Real Madrid.

"It's great to be back on the pitch, scoring goals and seeing some old friends," Ronaldo wrote in his personal Instagram statement.

The former Real Madrid player scored twice in the first half to draw level with the French giants.

Both goals were netted respectively from a penalty in the 35th minute and a left-footed strike at 45+3 after Lionel Messi and Marquinhos put PSG ahead in the 3rd and 43rd minutes.

Three other goals for PSG were scored by Sergio Ramos (54'), Kylian Mbappe (54'p), and Hugo Ekitike (78'). Meanwhile, Jang Hyun-soo (57') and Anderson Tallisca scored two additional goals from Al Nassr-Al Hilal All-Star in the 90+4th minute.

In this match, Ronaldo played on the same field with his former Madrid teammates Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas who strengthened Les Parisiens.

The 37-year-old player also met the duo of former Barcelona players Lionel Messi and Neymar. These two names previously became rivals when he was still at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo and Messi did not play the full match in this match. Both were pulled out right after the fight had been running for an hour.

Since moving to Al Nassr earlier this month, Ronaldo has still had to wait for his competitive debut due to the suspension he received from Manchester United for breaking the cellphones of a young Everton fan last April.

Ronaldo is likely to make his competitive debut for his new team on Sunday when Al Nassr host Ettifaq at Mrsool Park.
