Do Prosecutors Dare To Demand Maximal Ferdy Sambo In The Murder Case Of Brigadier J?

JAKARTA - Former Head of the Propam Polri Division, Ferdy Sambo, will undergo further trial in the alleged premeditated murder of Yosua alias Brigadier J today. He will listen to the demands of the public prosecutor (JPU).

"For today, the trial for the charges of the defendant Ferdy Sambo," said the Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, January 17.

Based on the Case Tracing Information System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court (PN), the trial with the agenda for the lawsuit will take place at around 09.30 WIB.

In the indictment, Ferdy Sambo is said to have planned the murder of Brigadier J. The planning was carried out on the third floor of the Saguling house, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

At that time, he asked Ricky Rizal to shoot. However, the request was rejected. So, Ferdy Sambo turned to Bharada Richarad Eliezer. Requests to shoot even then were granted.

The shooting of Brigadier J was carried out in the living room of the Police Complex's official residence, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on 8 July.

The reason behind planning the shooting was because he heard stories about the harassment by Brigadier J to his wife, Putri Candrawathi.

With a series of events and the role behind it, Ferdy Sambo was charged with violating Article 340 of the Criminal Code subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1). Thus, the maximum penalty is death penalty, life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years.
