COVID-19 Update As of January 13: 363 New Cases from Examination of 28,048 Specimens
JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 28,048 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 363 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 6,725,458 people and active cases fell by 116 to 7,426 cases", it was quoted as saying from the COVID-19 Task Force data, Friday, January 13.
Today's recovered cases increased by 471 people, bringing a total of 6,557,313 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 8 cases and a total of 160,719 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 120 cases and a total of 1,538,009 cases. Followed by West Java which has 83 new cases with a total of 1,233,822 cases. Central Java has 41 new cases and a total of 655,645 cases. East Java has 28 new cases and a total of 637,208 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 184 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an additional 61 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 50 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 37 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 114,342,355.
"The positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 1.91 percent", it wrote.
The number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases is recorded at 1,746 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had COVID-19 cases.

Furthermore, currently, 204,114,657 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,909,910 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 68,931,048 and the fourth dose was 1,209,186. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
