Moeldoko Emphasized That Implementation Of The Results Of The G20 Summit Must Be Monitored
JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Dr. Moeldoko assured that the government is currently working to ensure that the results of the G20 Summit which took place in Bali on November 15-16 last year can be implemented properly.
It should be noted, in accordance with President Joko Widodo's direction at the Limited Meeting on the Evaluation of the G20 Summit on November 28, 2022, the government has formed a task force whose task is to follow up on various agreements on the G20 results and ensure investment commitments can be implemented on the ground.
“People need to know about what the government has been and is doing. So KSP will continue to communicate to the public about the work of Ministries/Agencies as an outcome of the G20 Summit," said Moeldoko in a follow-up meeting of the G20 Summit agreement with all ministries/agencies, in Jakarta, Thursday 12 January.
Multilateral
Based on data compiled by KSP, there are 226 projects that are multilateral in nature with a value of US$238 billion and 140 projects that are bilateral in nature with a value of US$71.4 billion.
KSP itself will oversee especially climate change issues and the threat of an energy crisis. Apart from that, the issue of sustainable health sector recovery, including supporting the existence of the Pandemic Fund to the transfer of vaccine technology will also be the focus of KSP escort.
"Essentially, the 3 priority issues in the form of a sustainable energy transition, digital transformation, and global health architecture can be implemented in K/L programs. We will periodically check and make sure that the Ministries/Institutions are doing it all," said Moeldoko.

Apart from escorting, said Moeldoko, the KSP will monitor and evaluate the 52 points of the agreement contained in the G20 Bali Leader Declaration document. Among them are solving all the problems that disrupt the supply chain, inflation, energy, and food insecurity, as well as the increasing risk of financial stability.
“Various G20 projects need to elaborate on their influence. For example, in the health sector, people need to know what impact the G20 has on the health system at the community level. So, public questions regarding the urgency of the G20 Summit can be answered. I assigned all deputies in the KSP to oversee this work together with the relevant ministries," added Moeldoko.
