Getting An AV-TEST Certificate: Kaspersky Safe Kids Blocks Almost 100 Percent Adult Content
JAKARTA - Kaspersky Safe Kids has been recognized by AV-TEST for providing all the features needed for child protection on all devices, regardless of operating system, for the seventh consecutive year.
Kaspersky Safe Kids managed to block an overall average of 92 percent of potentially dangerous websites tested on Windows, and 87 percent on Android for 13 categories in six languages.

With children using digital devices from a very early age (around five to nine years) and gaining access to the internet, to keep children's online experiences safe and secure, parents are increasingly turning to parental control apps.
These apps help protect children from inappropriate content on the web, manage time spent on devices, and even reveal a child's physical location, if their device has a tracking app.
Also in testing, Kaspersky's software achieved its best results blocking almost 100 percent of inappropriate "adult content" for Windows.

Lab tests reveal that the over-blocking detection rate drops significantly in 2022 down to 5.6 percent for Windows (6.7% in 2021) and 4.8 percent for Android (6% in 2021).
In addition, Kaspersky Safe Kids managed to block more than 93 percent of web pages tested on Windows and Android in categories such as 'alcohol, tobacco, drugs', 'video games' and 'weapons, explosives, pyrotechnics' anything related to weapons. from sales on construction drawings and appearance.
AV-TEST also recognizes the capabilities of Kaspersky Safe Kids with its various features available for monitoring and control. In particular, one tester highlighted the 'search engine monitoring' and 'screen time limiting' features.
App blocking capabilities on Windows and Android devices based on category and iOS based on age appropriate as regulated in the app store are also noted.
