A Junior High School Student Dies Of Being Hit By A Tree While Waiting For A Break In Front Of The School

CILACAP - A student of SMPN 1 Cilacap died after being hit by a fallen tree on Jalan A Yani, Tambakreja Village, South Cilacap District, Cilacap Regency, Wednesday, January 4 at around 13.40 WIB.

ME (15), the initials of the victim, is a resident of Jalan Petintalan, Tambakreja Village, South Cilacap District, Cilacap Regency. At the time of the incident ME wanted to go home.

Head of Public Relations of the Cilacap Police, Iptu Gatot Tri Hartanto, said that at that time the victim was sitting under a tree waiting to be picked up.

"When the wind was strong, suddenly the large tree branch fell and hit the victim." said gatot in a written statement, Thursday, January 5.

The victim was immediately unconscious and was helped by the surrounding community and rushed to Fatimah Hospital. However, when he wanted to be referred to the Banyumas General Hospital for further treatment at 17.25 WIB, the victim died.

The victim could not be helped and died at Fatimah Hospital in Cilacap.
