Monitoring The Semarang Public Works Polytechnic Project For A Cost Of IDR 408 Billion, Minister Basuki Gave A Note On The Detailed Area
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono instructed the details of finishing (final work) in the Public Works Polytechnic (PU) area to be thoroughly considered.
According to Basuki, the goal is to make the area more attractive, beautiful, and comfortable for PU Polytechnic students.
"Pay attention to the details of the final settlement, clean up the remains of the construction materials, such as unused stones and tiles," Basuki said in a written statement, as quoted on Thursday, January 5.
Not only that, he asked that the floor be cleaned and the asphalt of the environmental road be made with a high-pressure water spray.
As is known, the construction of the new PU Polytechnic building on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Semarang, Central Java, was carried out in two stages.
For the first stage, the construction of the four workshop buildings on campus was completed at the end of 2021, with a contract value of IDR 103 billion.
Meanwhile, the construction of the second phase, which includes the construction of a directorate building, auditorium, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), has cost Rp305 billion.
This means that this project cost Rp408 billion.
Then, the construction of classrooms and laboratories, mosques, pedestrian bridges (JPO), landscapes, and infrastructure (sarpras).
Meanwhile, Head of the Central Java Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW) of the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Cipta Karya, Ministry of PUPR Cakra Nagara, said that the progress of the second phase of development has now reached 100 percent and it remains only to complete the final work to tidy up the condition of buildings and the environment.
"The construction work at the PU Polytechnic in principle has been completed and it is only a final settlement for cleaning and repairs," he added.
