Getting A Return Of IDR 750 Thousand, A Boy In Cilegon Nekat Edasar Sabu

Cilegon Police have arrested a minor for carrying 11 packages of methamphetamine in front of a shophouse on Jalan Raya Grogol District, Cilegon City. Head of the Cilegon Police Narcotics Unit, Iptu Syamsul Bahri, confirmed that his party had arrested a 17-year-old child suspected of being a shabu dealer.

Initially, officers received information from the public if there was a child circulating illicit goods.

"After receiving this information, the team immediately secured the boy at around 16.30 in front of a shophouse on the side of the road, Grogol District, Cilegon City. And when a search was carried out, the police found 6 packages of methamphetamine in the jacket he was wearing," said Syamsul in a written statement.

It did not stop there, the perpetrator then carried out developments and a search was carried out on methamphetamine which had been stored by the perpetrator at the location of the collection in the Cilegon City area. "Then it was found that 5 packages of methamphetamine were stored in different places," he added.

It is known that the perpetrator got the methamphetamine from BOY (DPO) to be circulated.

"The perpetrator of the child received wages from BOY (DPO) worth 750 thousand, for one time he did his job of distributing the illicit goods and the perpetrator of the child admitted that he had previously done it 3 times," he explained. The suspect and evidence have been secured at the Cilegon Police for examination.

"The perpetrator is suspected of Article 114 (1) and/or Article 112 (1) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and in connection with the perpetrator is a minor in handling the Cilegon Police Narcotics Unit implementing Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System," he said.
